Joel W. Baar

Joel Baar, a partner since 2006, joined the firm in 2003 and concentrates his practice in the areas of Real Estate, Civil Litigation, Business and Employment Law and Municipal Law.

A graduate of Grand Valley State University's Honors Program, Joel received his law degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Valparaiso University School of Law, where he was Associate Editor of the Law Review and served as a Judicial Clerk/Extern in the U.S. Court of Appeals 7th Circuit. He was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1998 and is admitted to practice in all Michigan State Courts, the Federal Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, and the United States Court of Appeals 6th Circuit.

Joel is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Federal Bar Association. He is a member of the Greater Grandville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, currently serving as its Vice President. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors for Eaglecrest Youth Ministry Services and is extensively involved in youth ministry at Fellowship Reformed Church in Hudsonville.
