Rick Bolhouse, a founding partner of the firm, concentrates his practice in the areas of
Collections/Creditors' Rights, Family Law, Commercial Law, and Personal Injury.
Rick earned his Bachelors degree from Calvin College in 1975 and his law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law in 1978. He was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 1978 and is admitted to practice in all Michigan trial courts, the Michigan Court of Appeals, the Michigan Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, the United States Tax Court, and the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Rick is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Family Law Section of the State Bar. He also serves as a mediator in Kent County. He is the current chairman of the Grandville Downtown Development Authority, past chairman of the Grandville Senior Neighbors Association and a former professor at Grand Rapids Community College.
